Getting off the beaten track, we hit the road on our motorbike to discover the richest farming area in the Mekong Delta. With the river starting its journey from Tibetan plateau, the Mekong river splits into numerous small winding tributaries, wide flowing streams and low lying island to form the Mekong delta.

Day 1: HCM to Ben Tre:

After getting away from crowded city streets, we will ride through the open countryside where can see local people making incenses and Vietnamese sausage. After crossing the river by ferry, we will stop to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the rice paddy. Then we keep on heading to the Delta, where we will make another stop at Vinh Trang pagoda-an ancient Southern architect gem being built in the middle of the 19th century. After that, we ride along a vast a network of canals and channels to enjoy the wonderful view of the Mekong river, on the way we will stop by to see how people make bricks and rush mats and so on. By the evening we will stay overnight in the Delta, join in the cooking class and enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with local family.
Day 2: Ben tre-Can Tho city
We will not only discover what the local people offer by hand rowing a sampan along the shady and windy canal but also see the floating fish farm-the villagers cultivate freshwater fish and shrimp in nets and wire baskets under their home. Next, we will visit a traditional workshop witnessing a step by step process on how to make coconut candy, honey farm. This local stuff will be great to try while while we are listening to folk music – a traditional music of Southern people. Then we will explore Cao Dai temple- combining of Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Confucianism and Christianity. Visiting the snake farm before heading to Tra Vinh. Riding along the rice fields and canals. Then we make some stops at local house to take a rest, to visit the Buddhist pagoda of Cham-a minority group and behold the wonderful ornamental trees farm.
Staying overnight in Can Tho- a biggest City in Mekong delta.
Day 3:We take a boat trip on the Mekong river to the Cai Rang floating market. On this day we spend our time at orchards to enjoy some local fruit. We also make a few other stops to see how the local’s make dry noodle and how people plant cocoa and make the chocolate. Riding back to HCM City
